Terms and Conditions
Arrival and Departure
Check in and out between office opening hours. Site check-ins after 10am ONLY, cabin check-ins after 2pm ONLY. All check-outs by 10am. If you plan to arrive outside of these hours, please call our Mobile on 0436 372 089.
Our managers live on site and are happy to assist. Your site-Guests must keep their site clean and tidy and ensure belongings are contained with in your allocated site.
Use of Deep Freezers and Refrigerators
There is strictly an allowance of ONE additional household Fridge/Freezer for each site at an additional daily charge of $5.00 to cover additional electricity usage. Your current rate allowance is for caravan fridge/freezer and an additional car fridge/freezer only.
Strictly no generators.
Fires
All fires must be contained in a fire pit off the ground. Ash not to be put on the lawn or gardens. Please see Office should you wish to dispose. Firewood can be collected around the adjacent beach area or please bring your own. Wood supplied at the communal fire is for the communal fire only and can not be used or purchased for personal use. All fire bans must be adhered to.
Facilities
Our facilities include:
- Amenities with disabled access- please see office for key
- Pontoon for fishing and boat access- no cast nets to be used on pontoon
- Boat ramp – all tidal access dredging completed 2022. All issues to be notified to Whitsunday Council.
On site Office
Available to purchase during office hours- ice, cold drinks, ice creams, bait, and grocery items
Licensed Café
Available to purchase during opening hours- cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, hot food
PLS NOTE WE DO NOT HAVE A TAKEAWAY LIQUOR LICENSE.
Dump Point
Located opposite the Office- Key required and is located at the office.
Communal Building
With tables/seating, electric BBQ’s, TV/DVD, book exchange, pool table (adults only), additional public toilets Separate Communal Kitchen with all cooking facilities, fridge, freezer, cutlery etc -. All items to be named and dated or they will be disposed of. Fridge/Freezer provided for the use of Campground and Donga customers ONLY.
STRICLTY NO BAIT OR FISH STUFFS TO BE PUT IN FRIDGE/FREEZER. ANY ITEMS FOUND NOT DATED/NAMED WILL BE DISCARDED AT THE END OF EACH WEEK. NO RESPONSIBILITY IS TAKEN FOR YOUR BELONGINGS.
Fish Cleaning Bay
One is located at rear campground- please ensure to clean after use and All fish scraps/frames/crab shells are to be wrapped and placed in the council bins at the far end of the boat ramp car park. The 2nd one is located external of caravan park near end of chanel where you will also find a yellow fish scrap tank.

Water
Rainwater tanks throughout park for use for drinking water, filtered tap at Communal building, water at all sites not recommended for drinking, please boil first.
Lawns and Grounds
Watering of sites recommended during your stay. We try to keep our grounds as green as possible, and your assistance is greatly appreciated during lengthy periods of stay. Grey water can be run directly onto the lawn. Mower and whipper snipper available from office for personal use around your site for lengthy stays.
Boat Launching
Strictly at boat ramp only- PLEASE NOTE THE BOAT RAMP AND ADJOING CARPARK AND ROADS ARE THE RESPONSBILITY OF WHITSUNDAY SHIRE COUNCIL AND MAIN ROADS
Children
Must be supervised at all times by an adult.
Smoking
Guests and their visitors must comply with the applicable Qld Government Smoking laws in place at all times – NO SMOKING IN COMMUNAL AMENITIES OR CABINS/DONGAS.
Pets
Dogs/pets permitted in the camping area. Pets are not to be left unattended, and owners must ensure that pets are restrained at all times while in the camping area. The camping area is strictly an on leash only area. Pets are not permitted in the communal kitchen areas or amenities. Off leash areas are restricted to outside the camping area, however owners must ensure all responsibility is taken for their pets and no responsibility will be taken by the park.
Pet owners must use doggy bags; doggy bag stands provided near the boat ramp. Please advise office should this require refilling, and we will contact the council. Doggy bags must be used at all times in on and off leash areas.
Refuse and Waste
Communal bin stations located at the end of the amenities building and the camp kitchen building. 10c recycling to be placed in the recycling bins.
Tree Risk
Guests accept that there is a possibility of injury or damage as a result of falling branches- please advise office of any potential hazards. Evacuations and Emergencies- In the event of an evacuation due to cyclonic conditions, all guests are required to leave the camping area and if required meet at the carpark front of office.

Indemnity
Release and other conditions of stay- Guests agree to indemnify the Boat Club, its servants and agents, and to keep them indemnified against all actions, claims, demands, loss, damage, injury, costs and expenses arising from, or in any way connected with, negligence or breach of these rules and regulations by guests or their visitors.
Guests agree to release the Boat Club, its servants or agents to the full extent permitted by law from all actions, claims and demands of any kind for, or resulting from any loss or damage suffered by, or the death of, or injury to, anyone in any way as a result of negligence or breach of these camping rules and regulations by guests or their visitors.
Guests accept all responsibility and acknowledge neither the Boat Club nor its servants or agents can be held liable in anyway whatsoever, for any damage or theft to property belonging to guests or their visitors, including as a result of power supply being connected or disconnected to guests caravans/motor homes/tents or the like. The indemnity and release referred to in these camping rules survive the termination or expiration of the guest stay.
Compliance with rules and regulations- Failure to comply with the rules and regulations and or on-site managers directions will result in termination of booking without refund and immediate eviction from the camping area.
Cancellation Policy
BOOKING FEES/REFUNDS/CANCELLATION POLICY FOR MOLONGLE BEACH CARAVAN PARK
A minimum, non-refundable deposit equivalent to one night’s fee (site or accommodation) is required at the time of booking. The balance of the account will be due for payment on arrival, except in the following circumstances:
• for bookings during the Christmas/New Year holiday period, the balance of the account will be due for payment by 30 November
• for bookings during the Easter holiday period, the balance of the account will be due for payment by 1 March unless as otherwise agreed in writing by Molongle Beach Caravan Park.
Park managers may charge a bond equivalent to one night’s fee (site or accommodation) at the time of check-in. If a bond is charged, and provided the site, mini cabin or self-contained cabin is left in a reasonable state of cleanliness and/or repair at check out, the bond will be refunded to the guest within 48 hours of check out.
If a guest has made a reservation under a special offer or discount, no further offers or discounts will be applied to that reservation.
Deposits will not be refunded and are not transferable.
Refund of monies paid (which exclude deposits) are only available where at least 28 days’ notice of full cancellation has been given. In such instances, monies will be refunded less the deposit. Balance monies remaining after application of the refund rules may be held in credit for 12 months for a future booking, at the Managers discretion.
Guests who arrive late, do not show up at all or leave the caravan park early are not entitled to a refund.
Inclement weather is not a circumstance for a refund. Please note that as Winter is our peak period, payment in full may be required at the time of making your booking or prior to your attendance. The same cancellation policy applies.
Please note that when booking online, your booking fee is in addition to your site costs.
